Preparation and use of pig feed at various stages

According to the growth stages of pigs, it can be divided into five stages: suckling pigs, piglets, middle pigs, large pigs, and breeding pigs. Each stage should adopt a different pig feed making formula to prepare and use pig feed.

1. Preparation of suckling pig feed

(1) Features　

Suckling pig refers to a growing pig from birth to weaning. The growth and development of suckling pigs are relatively rapid, and it is obviously not enough to rely on breast milk for nutrition. At this time, supplement feeding should be timely to maintain weight.

(2) Feed preparation standards

Corn 44.6%, fish meal 4%, soybean protein concentrate 5.5%, puffed soybean 31.5%, plasma protein powder 4%, whey powder 6%, acidulant 0.5%, calcium hydrogen phosphate 1.4%, stone powder 1.1%, table salt 0.3%, choline chloride 0.1%, suckling pig feed additive 1%.

(3) Feed use　

Generally, feed 4-5 times a day with free intake.

2. Preparation of piglet feed

(1) Features　　

Piglets are growing pigs whose body weight is 30 kg after weaning, and it takes about 35-40 days. This stage of the piglet has to complete the transition from feeding mainly to feeding completely. During this period, it is necessary to supplement energy and protein feed, so that the piglets can pass the weaning pass and enter the growth and fattening period.

(2) Feed preparation standards

Corn 53.9%, secondary powder 5%, fat powder 2%, fish meal 3%, soybean meal 10.7%, peanut meal 2%, yeast powder 3%, whey powder 5%, puffed soybean 12%, stone powder 0.8%, Calcium hydrogen phosphate 1.1%, salt 0.4%, acidulant 0.1%, piglet feed additive 1%.

(3) Feed use　

Piglets after weaning should eat less and more meals in the first 3-4 days. After gradual adaptation, they can eat freely. The piglets should eat 80% to 90% of their fullness and provide enough clean drinking water.

3. Preparation of feed for Chinese pigs

(1) Features　　

Medium pigs are growing pigs weighing 30-60 kg. Pigs grow vigorously at this stage, and the energy feed and protein feed in the feed should maintain a certain ratio. If the ratio is not appropriate, it will affect growth and feed utilization.

(2) Feed preparation standards　　

Corn 63.8%, bran 3%, soybean meal 26%, stone powder 0.8%, dicalcium phosphate 1%, salt 0.4%, alfalfa pellets 4%, growing pig feed additive 1%.

(3) Feed use　　

Each pig is fed 2-3 times a day, with free intake and unlimited feed. Provide enough clean drinking water.

4. Preparation of big pig feed

(1) Features　

Large pigs are growing pigs that weigh 60 kg and are ready for slaughter. At this stage, the muscle and fat of pigs grow faster, and the demand for energy and protein feed is greater. Therefore, this stage mainly focuses on fattening.

(2) Feed preparation standards　　

Corn 69.7%, bran 4.4%, soybean meal 17%, stone powder 0.8%, dicalcium phosphate 0.7%, salt 0.4%, alfalfa pellets 6%, and growing pig feed additive 1%. Total: 100 kg.

(3) Feed use　　

Each pig is fed 2-3 times a day, with free feeding and sufficient clean drinking water.

5. Preparation of pig feed

Large pigs can be reserved for breeding if they are not used as hogs. Feed preparation for breeding pigs is very important. It is related to breeding and breeding, improving the production quality and growth performance of pigs. We divide breeding pigs into breeding sows and breeding boars. Breeding sows mainly introduce the preparation of feed for pregnant sows and lactating sows.

(1) Preparation of feed for pregnant sows

①Features　　

Pregnant sows are growing sows from breeding to farrowing. The goal of feeding and management of pregnant sows is to ensure the normal development of the fetus in the mother's body, prevent miscarriage and stillbirth, and maintain the body condition of the sow. ③Use of feed　

Each head is fed 2-3 times a day, and the feeding amount is 2-2.5 kg per head per day.

(2) Preparation of lactating sow feed

①Features　　

Lactating sows refer to growing sows from farrowing to the end of lactation. The main task of the lactating sow is to produce enough milk while maintaining good body condition for the next breeding. Therefore, increasing the nutrient concentration of the feed for lactating sows and adjusting the feed intake of sows are the key to the feed for lactating sows.

② Feed preparation standards

Corn 56.4%, bran 4%, soybean meal 16.3%, peanut meal 3%, expanded soybean 10%, imported fish meal 3%, stone powder 0.6%, calcium hydrogen phosphate 2.1%, salt 0.4%, choline chloride 0.2 %, alfalfa pellets 3%, sow feed additives 1%. Total: 100 kg.

③Use of feed

Sows enter the farrowing room from 1 month before delivery to 7 days in advance. At this stage, the sows should be fed with lactation feed, twice a day per head, with a daily feeding amount of 3-3.5 kg; from entering the farrowing room to During childbirth, the daily feeding should be gradually reduced, and no feed will be given on the day of delivery; after delivery, each head should be fed 3.5-6 kg per day, twice; at the stage from weaning to breeding, each head should be fed every day The feeding amount is 3.5-4 kg, feeding 2 times.

(3) Preparation of boar feed
